SCOTT HAYZLETT - Associate Pastor

After several years owning and operating small businesses, Scott finally got the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong goal of being in full-time ministry. His ministry passions are teaching, deliverance ministry, and college-age adults. Outside of church, he enjoys music, carpentry, and spending time with Kelly, his wife of almost 25 years.

LISA KREFT - Kids' Pastor

Lisa Kreft is the Nursery and Kids' Church Pastor for Discover Community Church. Lisa and her husband, Jeremy married in 2007, and have three little girls, Vivian, Violet and Everly. In her down time, she loves to organize and decorate her home, and enjoys a good comedic movie. As a young woman, Lisa realized that one of her giftings is working with children! After some attempts at in the traditional office setting, she found herself drawn back to children. In her 22+ years of child care history, she has worked as an educational assistant, a preschool teacher, a tutor, and a nanny. Her favorite part of working with children at Discover, is that she gets to teach the word of Jesus! Lisa believes that children are ground-breakers for the kingdom of Christ, and that they have an important role in this world! She is grateful to be able to help guide and equip them as they grow into that role. It is her goal to accept every child that finds their way into our Nursery or Kids' Church and see each one as the precious child of God that they are.

TOM SNYDER - Worship Pastor

Tom Snyder is the Worship Pastor for Discover Community Church. Tom was a Music Teacher for 31 years, and served in worship and music ministry for 41 years. Tom is married to Sue who works for Nationwide Insurance. They have been married for 36 years. Their son and daughter-in-law lives in Lansing, MI and their daughter and son lives here. Tom's passion besides worship music is spending time every day in God's Word. Tom wants to see himself not just as a Worship leader but as a Leader of Worship. The Gospel of God's Grace teaches us that lasting change of heart always takes place in the context of relationship, first with God and then with God's people.

JEREMY KREFT - Tech Director/Lead Sound Engineer

Jeremy is the tech director/lead sound engineer for Discover Community Church. He has been involved with sound engineering since he was a teenager, and it is a passion of his. He has been married to Lisa Kreft for 15 years, and they have 3 young daughters. Jeremy's favorite movie is Strange Brew, his favorite music style is Trap, and Dance, and his favorite book is "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption". In his spare time, you can find him re-building computers and trying out the latest tech tools and toys.
